Who published the review?

A provider’s own testimonial page, an open customer platform, a paid directory and a competing firm’s comparison serve different purposes. Check the publisher and commercial relationship before relying on an order or score. Stratum sells property studies and publishes this guide; it is not an independent review publisher.

What experience does it describe?

A review of a standard rental report may say little about a large industrial engagement. Identify the property, product, approximate experience date and work the reviewer actually received. Ordering convenience, CPA communication, report detail and examination support are separate experiences.

What can be checked?

Follow pricing claims to the current official page. Request the support terms instead of interpreting a guarantee badge. Ask for a redacted sample report and the assigned review professional. A testimonial about a large deduction is not evidence that the same amount or current-year benefit will be available to you.

Resolve a troubling or unusually positive review

Read the underlying account in context, check whether the product or terms have changed, and ask the provider for the relevant written scope. Do not infer misconduct from one unresolved complaint or superior engineering from a perfect score. Compare what can be documented for your own engagement.

Make the next decision concrete

List your property-specific requirements and compare written proposals. If a prior report is involved, ask whether you need technical review, a correction, an improvement study or filing assistance. Choose that work before commissioning a replacement.
